Mega Evolution Comes Roaring Back to the Pokémon TCG!

The Pokémon Trading Card Game is kicking things up a notch with the upcoming Mega Evolution series, and the newly released trailer gives us our first real look at what's in store. Fan favorites like Mega Gardevoir ex and Mega Lucario ex are just the beginning—two exciting new headliners have just been revealed: Mega Venusaur ex and Mega Latias ex!

• Mega Venusaur ex returns with a jaw-dropping 380 HP, the highest ever seen on a TCG card. Its Jungle Dump attack slams for 240 damage and heals 30 HP, while its Solar Transfer Ability lets you move Basic Grass Energy freely between Pokémon—perfect for keeping your board flexible.

• Mega Latias ex makes its TCG debut, showcasing agility and power. Strafe lets it switch out of danger, while Illusory Impulse deals a massive 300 damage, at the cost of all its Energy.

Trainer favorites are back too!

• Lillie’s Determination lets you shuffle your hand into your deck and draw 6 cards—or 8 if you’re just starting the game.

• Wally’s Compassion fully heals a Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and returns its Energy to your hand, perfect for resetting and recharging your heavy hitters like Mega Venusaur ex.

The set also teases powerful new Items, Pokémon Tools, and a game-changing Hariyama with a gusting effect. With new strategies and bold designs, the Mega Evolution series is shaping up to be a powerhouse expansion you won’t want to miss.
